Maintainers Track at EuroSciPy 2026

EuroSciPy is more than the conference of the European scientific Python community. It is also a meeting place for the maintainers of widely used open source projects such as NumPy, SciPy, and pandas.

Most of this work happens remotely, scattered across issue trackers, pull requests, and time zones. EuroSciPy is a rare chance to do it in person — so we offer maintainers a dedicated track.

The Maintainers Track is for in-depth technical talks, design discussions, and the exchange of hard-won experience between maintainers and interested participants. Maintainers can compare notes on the problems they are wrestling with; everyone else can learn how a library actually works under the hood, how its development is organized, and where it is heading.

The track takes place in room 2.41 (see the schedule).

If you would like to present or discuss the internals of an open source project, please fill in this form. If your topic fits and we have room, we will add it as a talk slot.
